Mat 26:47And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.
Mat 26:59Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
Mat 27:1When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:
Mat 27:3Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
Mat 27:12And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
Mat 27:20But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
Mat 27:41Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,

Act 15:23And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia.
Act 16:4And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.
Act 23:14And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul.
