Mat 5:22But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Mat 26:59Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;

Act 4:15But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,

Act 23:1And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God unto this day.
Act 23:6But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
Act 23:15Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you tomorrow, as though ye would inquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him.
Act 23:20And he said, The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down Paul tomorrow into the council, as though they would inquire somewhat of him more perfectly.
Act 24:20Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,
Act 25:12Then Festus, when he had conferred with the council, answered, Hast thou appealed unto Caesar? unto Caesar shalt thou go.
